Dr. Alan H. Nguyen graduated with honors from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2000. He is a recipient of the UCLA Academy of Operative Dentistry Award, which is awarded to the dentist showing exceptional skills in restorative dentistry (crowns, fillings, bridges). Dr. Nguyen was also on faculty at UCLA serving as a clinical instructor at the dental school. He believes in treating all of his patients like family, and he is committed to being gentle, caring, and thorough, and delivering exceptional quality dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen is committed to staying current with new dental procedures and technologies. He frequently attends continuing education classes on a variety of dental subjects. His passion is preventive dentistry with a focus on cosmetics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and Orange County Dental Association.
Dr. Nguyen was raised in Huntington Beach. He attended UCI where he received a bachelors …degree in biology. He currently lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife, who is a pediatrician, and their two sons Dylan (2 1/2 years) and Jacob (8 months). When not in the office he enjoys surfing, golfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his family.
