Alan Nguyen, MD

Dr. Alan Nguyen, MD, is an immunologist in the Division of Immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in pediatric allergy and immunology, with expertise in conditions including asthma, eczema, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, and primary immunodeficiency disorders. Dr. Nguyen earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed his pediatric residency at Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital, followed by fellowship training in allergy and immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Board certified in both pediatrics and allergy/immunology, he is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to helping children and families manage complex allergic and immune-related conditions.
