Dr. Alan Israel Nussbaum, MD

Have been with him for over a year now. Immediately found problem and prescribed correct medication. This after many years of many many doctors telling me there was nothing wrong. Highly educated and a gentleman.

My wife and I were new patients, he saw us on an afternoon he normally does not see patients. Yes, that may account for the amount of time he spent with us but it doesn't justify the concern he showed for our treatment. I will definitely continue to put my trust in his treatment.

Dr. Nussbaum approaches patient care as a joint venture. He is curious and listens well. All lab work and differential diagnostic considerations are explained. I was very happy to be able to see him even if it meant a two hour trip. I admire his intelligence and integrity.

I am very disappointed! Like he was reading text book cases! I thought with going to a more established doctor with good reviews that I would finally put an ease to my confusion and stress over with what is going on with me! I am sad to say, this is not the Dr to see. He completely dismissed me from the beginning. I am sure he knew the diagnosis before I even walked into his office. Please allow critiquement, Google others in my conditio as it's serious to us...so take us serious instead of a complete analysis based on blood work! Something is going on!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! I thought I was going to a doctor that loves to be challenged and/or thought higher than "taught lessons". He asked me what was wrong so I started to tell him and while in mid-sentence he looked over at my daughter and asked her a question, not related to my visit (3x). At the end of our worthless appt. he dismissed me based solely on a 3 month old blood work and did not even… take the time out to listen or assess my situation!!!

Dr. Nussbaum is a very caring physician, spends all the time you need during your appointment, explains diagnosis clearly and in layman's language. Appointments are taken in a timely manner. Staff are very nice and helpful in anything you need. I think he's the very best which is why I drive 2 1/2 hours each way just to have him as my physician.
