Dr. Alan Christopher Olson, MD

I chose Dr Olson because of his knowledge of my sons medical condition. In nine years I've actually got to see him maybe 5 times. When do see him he is 100% the other providers are in my opinion terrible

Have had problems with ease of access to my child's healthcare provider. Whenever we make an appointment, we never see Dr. Olson and either see an ANRP, or another provider. One example of care is when we took our child to see the doctor and found out that he had an ear infection, brought him back home after being prescribed ear drops from the PA. Then when that wasn't resolved in 3 days, brought him back and found that he had RSV, and the PA apologized for not swabbing for this at the previous appt. We have had other troubles with this office, (courteousness of PAML, new and different diagnosis from each different healthcare provider, no consistency of care), and are currently looking elsewhere, even considering out of network providers.

We have been with Dr. Olson for 4 years have not seen him once for any of our daughter's appointments. Every time we call in for an appointment we are given to a registered nurse. We have recently noticed a painful lump on our daughter and made an appointment to see him and yet again we are seeing the RN. We were told not to worry about it and it would go away. The skin above the lump has now turned red and purple and is running a temp and even more painful. We called in again, only a week after the initial apt, and were told that we will have to see another RN because both the doctors are out of the office for the next few days. What kind of Doctors offices doesn't have a doctor on the premises or on call?
