Summary

I am a Board Certified Prosthodontist. Prosthodontists are dentists who specialize in the restoration and replacement of teeth. Their extensive training builds on four years of dental school with an additional three years of specialized training in an American Dental Association accredited graduate residency program. Their training includes intensive focus on certain procedures and treatments, including crowns, bridges, dentures, cosmetics and dental implants. Prosthodontists are the architects of dentistry. If you have lost teeth or are considering cosmetic or reconstructive dental work, you should consult a Prosthodontist about your treatment options first. Prosthodontists are experts at making smiles look beautiful and function properly. “As a Prosthodontist, I can provide both the surgical and restorative aspects of treatment,” said Dr. Paradis. “I can give a higher level of service to my patients based on careful planning and consideration of individual needs and desires.

While practicing general dentistry in an area of Florida where many of his patients were older adults, Dr. Paradis discovered a large need among his patients for dental implants. “And I quickly discovered that there is a whole body of knowledge in that field that required deeper study,” he said.
After 11 years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Paradis headed back to school for Prosthodontic Specialty training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Today, he runs the Paradis Dental Implant Center in Colleyville.

He hand crafts each set of dentures himself, resulting in a better overall fit for his patients. We have far fewer adjustments and return visits because he makes the dentures himself.

Most commonly, he utilizes dental implants in his practice. “I have extensive experience in using dental implants,” he said. “I’ve been using implants in restorative dental treatments for more than 30 years.”

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only.
