Fantastic doctor - great personality, honest, goes above and beyond in my opinion. He even liked my sarcasm! If you need a lap procedure, he's the one you want!

Dr Posner was tremendous when he did my surgery several years ago and is a true human being that donates much time to people in countries that are in need of Medical assistance. All physicians should be like him.

I l lost required weight just a lb off. Nutritionist refused to advice to proceed with surgery. Its a struggle losing weight keeping it off I believed lost 15 opposed to 16 lbs. Never celebrated but turned away.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Alan thru my difficult time dealing with Gallbladder issues, he’s an amazing Dr and man that truly cares about his patients. His knowledge and professional experience as well as his true genuine kindness for his patients are at the highest levels. He put all of my concerns at ease it was truly my pleasure I feel blessed to have be directed to him for the original consultation. Dr. Alan Posner, Bariatric Surgeon, Buffalo General Hospital I signed up with Dr. Posner because a person I knew had a successful experience with him years and years ago. Times have changed. My experience wasnâ??t good. People are processed like cattle through his office. No attention to customer service, this is just about making money. My rating? 0/10. Do not go to him. He thinks he and his staff do no wrong, and on this point, no matter what your evidence is, he wonâ??t waver. His staff made scheduling mistakes with me, hurried me on the phone when prepping me for a visit, and are always in a chaotic state. There is absolutely no regard for your time (on at least 3 occasions I waited 3 HOURS beyond my scheduled appointment time), or your personal situation, which included in my case another very serious medical issue complicating my ability to lose weight. Youâ??ll get no compassion, because youâ??re being processed, not cared for. In my case, I did lose… the required weight (%5), and as per his staff member, I had the doctorâ??s office send the information signed and on their letterhead, to Dr. Posner only to have Dr. Posner tell me they donâ??t accept weigh-ins recorded at other MDâ??s offices. On a subsequent visit, another patient told me she was on the surgical bed, and apparently she was 1 (!) pound over weight, and she said Posner refused to give her surgery. So whatâ??s Dr. Posnerâ??s refrain throughout the ordeal? â??Itâ??s your fault. Iâ??m not going to give anyone surgery who canâ??t prove to me they can lose the weight.â?? (And btw, heâ??s the busiest bariatric surgeon in the area because heâ??s been so heavily marketing his services through his classes, not, IMHO, because of the service he gives his patients.) Yes, all the above is true, and I hope this review helps you, and wish someone wouldâ??ve done it for me. Go elsewhere, or enter at your own risk.

Dr posner is a superb doctor the greatest to perform the gastric bypass i had it done 6 years ago and i would do it again i love you and thank you

Have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Posner. He did Gall Bladder Surgery on me back in 2008. I have no complaints. To describe him; he is very down to earth, has a sense of humor and explains things that you can understand while maintaining a professional manner. He's a great laparoscopic surgeon and is good at what he does. I would recommend him highly and use him again for any future surgeries.
