Dr. Rauba provides onsite instruction for adult patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. He prescribes, initiates, and actively manages insulin pumps. He has a special interest in cardiovascular disease prevention and provides comprehensive follow up of diabetes, hypertension, and lipids. Continuous glucose monitoring is also available. I've been to many endocrinologist in the last 15 years, and he is the first to listen and have me feeling better after so many years.

Excellent doctor! Discusses everything with you beforehand and tries to help you understand fully what's going on!

Dr Rauba diagnosed my diabetes in 2006 and started me on several Rxs to combate any potential side effects. I am still side effect free 9 years later with the only change to his initial plan has been diet. I do not follow a ADA diabetic diet as it contained too many carbs. I have been on a low carb high fat diet for the last 4 years since moving back to AZ. I do credit Dr Rauba with getting me started on the right path and with my continued good health. Thanks Dr Rauba!

Second doc after diagnosis. Fired at. Louis doc. Who treated me like his grossly obese patients. He had one spiel you are fat and diabetic and it is your fault. Dr. Rauba is the opposite. He sees you as and individual and treats you as such. He can tell from your blood tests if you have been bad or good. Not much interested in his patients lieing or bsing him. Works hard for you and expects effort from you. If you want to eat potato chips and set on the couch find another doc.

I was a diabetic patient of Dr. Rauba and at times I did not take care of myself as I should. Dr. Rauba told me flat out that if we did not get the proper numbers showing improvement that he wanted for his stats he would drop me as a patient. I saved him the trouble.

Not sure of the other's comments about poor bedside manner and incompentence. I found him and his staff very helpful and truly interested in my well-being. He doesn't beat around the bush, and was very straightforward with me as to what I needed to do to get my diabetes better controlled. Up on all the latest meds and works to get the A1c to goal. Always sends a letter or calls with lab results, calls me back quickly (usually same day), and even responds by email.

Works with diagnosing and maintaining your treatment plan. Cares about you as a person and your wellness. Explains conditions and keeps up on the follow up of bloodwork. Staff are prompt and very courteous of you and know you. Highly recommend Dr Rauba.
