Dr. Alan R Rissolo, MD

I don't want to finance this man's family vacations in Switzerland, especially when he is assuming I'm wealthy and he can perform unnecessary procedures. The office staff should spend less time writing fake reviews and devote more time to patients.

The exam room had an odor I found very unpleasant.

Dr. Rissolo did an excellent job before, during, and after the extraction of my 19 year old daughters 4 wisdom teeth. They were deep and she was very anxious about the procedure. He sat with her before hand and told her exactly what to expect and answered all her questions. He relates very well to his patients and spends more time with patients than I have ever seen from any other doctor. Dr. Rissolo removed my sons wisdom teeth recently as well and it was an entirely different case as he was suffering with an infection and in pain prior to the extractions. Both kids just can't say enough about "how Dr. Rissolo is so good at his job" and neither can imagine going to anyone else. He followed up with a phone call to the kids that evening and gave them his direct cell number in case they had any questions at all. The staff is extremely professional and kind. They genuinely care about and understand the kids and the parents. Our family is very grateful for Dr. Rissolo and his staff.

I have a long history of having difficulty at any kind of dental appointment… I approach them with dread and physical distress… I must say that my recent visit to Dr. Rissolo’s office was VERY positive. The staff -both at the desk and at chair side were warm and reassuring . Dr R was kind and thoughtful in his manner. He took his time in my clinical assessment and explained clearly all considerations for my procedure. He even spent some time making suggestions and strategies to help improve my comfort and success with oral surgery to come. Cannot say enough about what a great experience it was and I feel I am in excellent hands. Thank you to my dear Dr Richard Staubet ( another gem of dentistry) for the referral.

My daughter had an infected wisdom tooth and her pediatric dentist referred us to Dr. Rissolo. His office scheduled an appointment for her right away. We had a consultation on Wednesday and Thursday morning she was scheduled to have her four Wisdom teeth extracted. He and his staff could not have made her feel more comfortable and relaxed. I liked that they spoke directly to my daughter and made her feel at ease. They answered any questions she had and went over all directions for care following the surgery. She had no residual bleeding and minimal swelling. In fact she was eating pasta that night. Dr. Rissolo called me that night to see how she was feeling. Best dental experience ever. My other daughter will be visiting Dr. Rissolo when she returns from school in May.

I had an extraction and two implants this summer by Dr. Rissolo. I highly recommend him for his skill and for his patient interaction. In particular, I valued his ability to describe what needed to be done and the procedures in terms I could readily understand. He patiently answered all my questions without being condescending. The procedures were done well and with care.

They treat you like a number. Not having any work done there.

Dr. Rissolo needs to inform his staff about office etiquette. Calling a grown woman "sweetie" and "honey" is demeaning. Moreover, referring to Dr. Rissolo as "Riz", is better done on the tennis court, not in patient care areas. The overall atmosphere here was lack of attentiveness: Dr. Rissolo did not follow through on the detailed fee schedule he promised. And the dirty fan in the exam room was an eye opener AND a door closer. Not going back.
