Dr. Alan Lawrence Rubin, MD

Feel like I was dealing with 2 different people. When something upsetting happened to me medically and my anxiety and depression returned, he dropped me like a hot potato. Doctors have a right to say feel your issue is out of their range. But best practice is to refer to someone else. He told me this in the middle of a session. I had been in treatment for 3 years.the way he spoke to me about it was actually cruel. I won’t write what he said but it was rotten. I could really reported him to the state.

Dr. Rubin is fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Also takes time to explain complex topics and answers any questions. The office is also easily accessible and quick to respond.

Dr. Rubin is a wonderful man. I have found him to be kind, compassionate and attentive. To me these are the qualities that make a great doctor.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OR YOUR LIFE WILL BE IN DANGER!

There are no words, Dr Rubin has helped me in a very short time to cope with life that I was struggling with for quite some time. He spent time getting to know me and how I live my life and feel in all kinds of situations. Dr. Rubin made suggestions and discussed options that may work with me. If my first options did not work he gave me hope that we would find one and we did and since he listened to me so well it worked with the very first option. He genuinely cares. Every visit is just not to renew medications its to discuss how life is going and how I am handling my life and lifes situation. I am truly GRATEFUL to Dr. Rubin. He is my hero.

I have been seeing Dr. Rubin since Jan. 2019 and I have been very comfortable with him since I started. There is never a long wait and I have never felt rushed during my sessions. Dr. Rubin is calming, caring and attentive. He is extremely knowledgeable about medications and I have already learned a great deal about myself from my time with him. He is insightful and informative. I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Hi. I saw this man when I was 15 years old. I'm now in my 30s. I was a bullied kid and had a rough childhood. I remember sitting with him in his office with both of my parents. I asked him multiple times, "how does medication fix my problem at school?" He never answered me. He just proceeded to write up prescriptions. Everyone has problems in this world. Life is not easy. Whoever reads this listen to me. Put God first and ask God to help you. Medication is a joke. All it did was make me worse in my teens. God is the ultimate healer. Honestly, shame on this guy. I was a 15 year old kid and all he cared about was getting paid. I'm writing this to wake people up. You dont need him. Seek out christian counseling if needed. - Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will ge given to you, seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened to you.

He provides options to chose from, subsequently providing his advice on what we ought to do giving our circumstances. friendly, caring, is genuinely interested in his client's lives, he doesn't prescribe, and charge.
