Dr. Alan Neal Sedell

My son had to have wisdom teeth extracted. Of course he was worried, but Dr. Sewell was very patient, explained the procedure and the care afterwards. My son was surprised how painless the procedure was and how easy his recovery was. I would highly recommend.

This man has blame and anger issues. He always has to be right. He is the only one who can speak. If you try, he will talk over you. I went to him for a root canal that was supposed to take 2 visits to complete. After the first visit, hot and cold liquids no longer bothered the tooth so I assume he successfully removed the root. However after the numbness wore off I was in terrible pain. I called his office but was told it was normal for the tooth to be sensitive. It wasn't sensitive, it was terribly painful. I went back to his offer where his answer was to grind the tooth down so far that it didn't touch the tooth above it. This did nothing to relieve the pain. My tooth was throbbing. After another call to his office he gave me an antibiotic but that didn't help. I made another appointment to go back the following week only to have emergency spinal cord surgery and was forced to cancel. After a week in the hospital my tooth was still terribly painful but thankfully… the pain medication from the surgery kept it a bay enough to deal with it. Once I was well enough to go back, I called Dr. Sedell's office to make an appointment. The reception spoke very little English. I could hear her speaking with him but she had mixed up a few facts. This contributed to the problem but does not excuse this man's 16 minute tirade over the phone about missing appointments (he knew about the spinal cord tumor and that I had surgery to remove it the same day as my appointment at his office . . . . which would you choose?) He told me everybody has excuses for missing appointments, that he was too busy, that he had a bad day, that he wasn't even suppose to be in the office that day, that I was difficult because I kept complaining about my tooth hurting and that I was driving his receptionist 'nuts'. All over a single phone call to say my tooth still hurt a great deal and to make an appointment. I asked for copies of my X-rays to go to another Endodontist and he told me he was busy and would get to it when it got to it. The following Monday he called. As soon as I said hello I was again bombarded with blame starting with "YOU didn't give me your email so how am I supposed to send you the X-Rays". He never asked for it. When I tried to give it to him he just kept shouting over me determined to make me believe that I was responsible for any issues because I kept complaining about my tooth hurting. I finally had to hang up because it was clear that he wouldn't let me give him my email until he had, once again, vented his anger at me. Alan Sedell is abusive with a Napoleonic Complex. He's an angry little man is every way.

I had a very bad experience with this doctor and l recommend everyone to avoid going to him ! He is such a nonsense monster dentist. For example, During the procedure of the treatment I was in so much pain it felt as if i’m almost dying and I felt dizzy and almost fainted because when he administered the Anastasia, it felt like as if he is constantly stabbing me in my gums. I screamed from pain but he didn't care cause he has no emotions and I was crying and shaking from pain though he still continued the procedure without any help because he is a monster not a doctor. I have learned a huge lesson from this experience which is to never go see a doctor without reading his online reviews. Terrible doctor deff not recommended to anyone
