Feeling angry and frustrated. I just left an appointment in which a Bronson plastic surgeon made fun of my scars and my attempt to get back to my pre-accident self. I made the consultation to find solutions to remove or reduce the scars and facial damage from my accident more than a year ago. While the scars range from 4 inches to just a few centemeters and the crook of my broken nose and sagging eye socket are slight, my face and body simply aren't the same as they were before the fall. I wanted to get back to where I was. However, in his eyes I should just 'deal with it' and even stated that "if my new scarred and broken body bothers me I should see a psychologist (oh yes, and use sunscreen)". So very frustrating! While I am perfectly confident with myself, I don't find anything wrong with seeking to improve or to heal damage and scar tissue. Looking for recomendations for a decent/ caring/human plastic surgeon in Kalamazoo.

I had a breast augmentation and he did a fantastic job. Im very petite and I told him to do what he thought would look the best. He did a really nice job.

Dr. Stephens is a very honest, to the point physician. He doesn't try to sell patients a surgery that isn't needed or that he doesn't feel he can deliver satisfaction, he's conservative, and does his best to ensure patients meet their cosmetic and reconstructive goals.

I had ear pinning surgery performed twice by Dr. Stephans. Both times, my ears began to pull back out over time, meaning that the surgery he performed didnt' properly take. When I went back after the second surgery to discuss my concerns about my ears not staying pinned, he got upset, stated "what do you want from me?" turned around and walked out of the room. This is no exaggeration. I paid over $6000 for this man to pin my ears closely against my head. They currently still stick out by standard measurements and he refuses to acknowledge it or fix them. A person goes to a plastic surgeon to fix something that they are self-conscious about. He failed to fix the issue and made me nervous to even talk to him about it. Do not use this doctor if you can avoid it. I don't want you to have the same experience I had.
