Dr. Summers saw me urgently after another neurologist with Dupage Medical Group failed to treat me correctly and gave up because he didn't know what was going on. Dr. Summers spent 40 minutes with me, caring and listening, double checking, explaining everything he was seeing and doing. He's a wonderful doctor and I'm so glad that as a very young adult he is treating me because I trust him, I appreciate him, and he genuinely cares.

I saw Dr. Summers at the CDH location. After checking in I started to fill some paper work. I was called within 5 minutes. The nurse did her thing and the Dr was in about 6 minutes after she left. He was very thorough and took time to listen and make sure you didn't leave confused about anything.

Extremely knowledgeable, and tests until no tests are available for the symptoms you're showing and feeling.

I went to this Dr. Summers with chronic migraines every time he shot me with Botox two days later I was in the ER. He acted like my reactions were fake when I said my hands went numb and leg he ordered a EMG that wasn't the test I needed as he saw my reflexes were off I needed a MRI and cervical spine sugery thanks to my pcp I got that. Almost went paralyzed because he ignored everything I said. Talked to office manager she said she would do an investigation and contact me. Of course she never did I would not give this doctor to my worst enemy !!

I saw Dr. Summers on my first visit, and have subsequently seen his nurse practitioner, Eileen. They are both great. Eileen is open to non-drug approaches to managing headaches as well.

don't have very great things to say about this doctor's practice. dr. summers had tests done on my husband, but was never able to diagnose (actually he never mentioned he was trying to diagnose, his reply was just that there was no diagnosis). Lastly, what made us leave this doctor was that he didn't chart what my husband was on. He didn't bother to write down the new meds he had prescribed. How does a doctor miss that?! (Soon after leaving this doctor, our new neurologist diagnosed my husband after one office visit and a peek at his tests).

Dr. Summers is an excellent and caring doctor that is willing to "think outside the box" and is humble enough to say "I don't know but I'll help you find out". He also listens more than he speaks -- a definite departure from the usual specialists!
