Dr. Alan Scott Tuckman, MD

Dr. Tuckman is very helpful and explains a lot more then previous doctors I've been to. Also explained in detail about the function of the plantar fascia and why you shouldn't have surgery on it and his cast techs were awesome as well.

Dr. Tuckman and his associates were very professional and helpful.

I did NOT want a cast. But Dr Tuckman explained in detail the physical and financial impact. He was right. I hated the cast but he was on target with his diagnosis and treatment plan

After a previous injury many years ago, I developed arthritis in my ankle joint which made it difficult to walk. I saw Dr Tuckman for suggestions for pain relief and or surgery. I was given a conservative option at first which didn't last long. My 2nd option was to surgically repair my malaligned tibia/fibula prior to getting an ankle replacement. I appreciate his professional approach as opposed to just doing an ankle replacement since this wouldn't have a good outcome. I am in the healing stages and will await an ankle replacement when I am ready. Thank you Dr Tuckman for your surgical experience and expertise. He is a superb physician in the OR and in the office! I would highly recommended him to anyone. He is extremely competent, straightforward and caring...which are a winning combination to have.

While trying to figure out the full scope of my ankle injury, Dr. Tuckman was not quick to go to surgery. He investigated many different options and tried different therapies prior to suggesting surgery. I appreciate Dr. Tuckman and his staff very much!

His suture technique using vascular tubing made a huge difference, too—the stitch removal was so much more comfortable. My consultation with Dr. Tuckman was in August 2025. He was very professional. Very informative. He wasted no time getting me scheduled for exrays and I didn't wait long for my surgery to occur. When I walked, he could immediately see what my issue was. Hus bed side manners were very sweet. He is very kind. Great sense of humor too.
