Dr. Alan Richard Varraux, MD

He is a Wonderful Doctor. The reason anyone may wait when they arrive is only because Dr Varraux spends quality time with each of his patients. He doesn’t rush you during your appointment and explains everything to you. He always answers all of your questions. I don’t mind waiting if I have to because I know he will spend time with me...

I had an 11AM appt..arrived at 10:30 since it was my first appointment. After dealing with the most unprofessional receptionist and other staff, I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before being called in to sit in yet another room for 20 minutes before what looked like Columbo walked into the room. This Dr never even looked at any of ALL the results I had faxed over to him and his bedside manner, not unlike his staff was the worst! The office was filthy and out of date. They literally wrote me a receipt on what looked like a message pad. I informed the Dr who recommended this guy to me and I will never return!

Very intelligent Dr. Takes time with each patient, answers questions in a way that are understandable, very educated. Would highly recommend this doctor to anyone experiencing pulmonary issues.

My experience is he always spends all the time needed with you to make sure you understand and also answer any questions you have. I never felt rushed. He is a very caring and understanding doctor.

First of all i barely sat down after checking in when the nurse called me back. While she was taking notes of our conversation Dr. Varraux joined us.He went over the results of my ct scan and after the referrals and prescriptions he explained several things i should do and not do. I could not be any more impressed.

We waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor and he wasn't even in the office for the first hour of that time.

The time Dr varreaux spent with my mother was unbelievable. She was so happy leaving his office. They say mental state is a big contributor to healing and dr varreaux and his staff are incredible. From coming out and personally walking my mom into her room to checking off all of her questions in her notebook .... Dr varreaux deserves high praise. He is the best ever at pulmonology and my mom is a very challenging case.
