Dr. Alan Duy Vu, MD

He’s alright. Not great. But not terrible. I saw him kind of regularly for awhile a few years ago, but once my meds were stable I just went to my GP for them. He didn’t seem all that concerned about me or my health. Just seemed like he’s going through the motions. I started seeing him again as of late because I was feeling out of sorts. When I try to explain what’s going on, he just seems like he’s going through the motions. Talks AT me. Not really listening. He gets me in and out in 15 mins.

I have been going to see Dr. Vu for about a year and a half now. I find him very knowledgeable and approachable. Dr. Vu has a virtueous demeanor about him which makes a person feel very comfortable asking questions. I am confident in the diagnosis and treatment plan I have, and continue to see Dr. Vu on a regular basis. As for his office administrator... A-1quality! My experiences with the administrator have always been very congenial, even under busy or stressful conditions, always efficient and always there to go the extra mile (with a smile). I have never had any problems scheduling appointments and receiving feedback when needed.

Dr. Vu is great! He has helped me for over four years. I appreciate him an his staff very much, they have helped me get through some very rough times.

Dr. Vu is a professional, kind, and caring psychiatrist. I highly recommend him!

I have never left an opinion/review for anyone before. Honestly, never even got a chance to speak to Dr.Vu. Left a message on office phone last Thursday about him seeing my son. No return call Thursday. Called the office several times Friday but nobody picked up, and I didn't leave a message. Left second message Monday. No return call Monday. Called again Tuesday at noon and receptionist finally picked up. I asked why office staff didn't call back and she said they don't work Mondays (what about Thursdays or Fridays or Tuesday mornings when they were there and could have returned a message?)I told her I left messages about my son needing to see a psychiatrist. She didn't respond...just dead air... I waited. She then asked why I was calling...huh?? She absolutely doesn't care about people and is losing potential patients for this dr. She should NOT be employed by a psychiatrist. He might be the greatest dr. in the world, but he has employed an uncaring staff member who represents him… first.

THIS OFFICE IS VERY COOPERATIVE AND VERY SUPPORTIVE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH DR VUDU OR HIS STAFF.

The office I go to, he is only there 2 days a week. He is easy to talk to. He recognizes problems easily. Will discus medications with you and has a great staff.I rated him poor on follow ups because I have never received any follow ups. I would recommended his services.
