Dr. Alan Bruce Walker, MD

Had my yearly physical (requiring fasting) scheduled for 9:30 on a Tuesday morning. I got the automated calls and texts on Friday, and 2 on Monday reminding me of my appt. and required fasting (which I did). Tuesday morning I get a call around 8:20 asking if I would like to reschedule my cancelled appt., although the lady on the phone couldn't tell me when it was cancelled and by whom. Needing my physical to renew my blood pressure meds I accepted her offer to schedule for 4-5 weeks away. Unfortunately, I had to cancel this appt., but made sure to give 24 hrs notice even though they didn't give me 24 hrs notice. About a month after this, they sent a certified letter to my wife cancelling her as a patient. We are sure this was in retaliation for the review I left online. Definitely no longer a reputable business.

Dr. Walker is a wonderful, very knowledgeable doctor, however, his nurse Jennifer is absolutely horrid. She is extremely rude, quite obnoxious, and it is an absolute nightmare trying to get a prescription or test called in. We have had occasions where she did not fax in referrals to a specialist or make the appointment. She consistently has a sour look on her face, and acts like she doesn't have time to even show you to your room. We are unsure why Dr. Walker doesn't fire her, as I know she does this to most patients of his, not just us. The office staff, unfortunately, is rather incompetent also. It's so upsetting that such a good doctor has such terrible staff. Because of them, we will be forced to seek out another doctor. We've been dealing with this for 6 years now, and hate to leave Dr. Walker, but we simply cannot take it anymore.
