Alan S. Weisz, D.D.S M.S As a former teacher, Dr. Weisz enjoys educating his patients as well as himself. Continuing education has enabled Dr. Weisz to provide the best possible care to his patients. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Illinois. He was awarded a Master of Science degree in Oral Pathology the same year. He then completed his residency in general dentistry at Wadsworth, VA and U.C.L.A. in Los Angeles. Dr. Weisz was a professor at the University of Illinois in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine from 1979 to 1993. He is also the co-founder of the University of Illinois’ College of Dentistry’s Oral Medicine section. Dr. Weisz volunteers professional time to the ARK dental clinic in Chicago and has given time to the Trudi Berger children's clinic in Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Weisz resides in Deerfield with his family and enjoys all sports, dancing, fishing, travel and scuba diving in his spare time.
