I am a kindergarten teacher who prides myself in my ability to communicate in a positive manner. I only go to the doctor when my wife makes me. This was one of the rudest and, inattentive and dismissive experiences I’ve ever had. He acted as if I was wasting his time, shrugged and waved at a basic question about my shortness of breath, without even trying to listen or answer. He barely spent five minutes and seemed put out. Also he question rudely why I don’t have insurance. First, it’s none of his business. Second I have plenty of money and pay out of pocket. After reading his bio and seeing that he is 44 years in, it seems like he’s over it and needs a shove not a nudge into retirement.

I don't normally complain about providers, but I had to write this review because of the of obnoxious and disrespectful behavior I received during my visit with him. I came in for a simple prescription refill and was made to feel completely invalidated. He would not entertain any of my questions or let me explain my situation. He was incredibly condescending and seemed utterly unwilling to listen. Even after he posed a question to me he would abruptly cut me off as I tried to explain. The way he responded to me made me feel like he had no care or compassion for me or the situation. If he had even been open to a respectful dialogue I would have gladly engaged with him in this way. It's just very disillusioning to have an experience like this with a healthcare provider whom you're hoping to be able to trust and get support and information from. The appointment only lasted approximately six minutes and all of this of obnoxious and disrespectful behavior happened in that… short period of time. I would not recommend him to any other patient and I would not feel comfortable seeing him again.

I felt this doctor was condescending, dismissive, and inattentive. For example I pointed out I had recently had Pneumonia and remarkably he did not listen to my breathing at all. I answered yes to his question about an earache and he did not take the time to look in my ears. He scolded me about medical insurance which I assured him I have (and have had all my life) but he didn't listen. He chastised me about coming in only two days after my symptoms started (something I didn't do with my Pneumonia which exacerbated the illness so I thought I would be more prompt) and I found myself apologizing. Then when I tried to break the tension developing over his very obvious callousness-- with a comment about how quick Strep cultures are now, I discovered he was also humorless when he responded "We've had instant culture for twenty years" and walked out of the room. Now anyone can have a bad day, but this doctor exemplified everything that I fear about my healthcare needs as I get older. I… wish to be treated compassionately and attentively.

Less than one star. Less than zero stars. This was the single worst doctor experience I have ever had in my life. New to town, I had come in for some prescription refills. Apparently, this alerted the doctor who acted like I was a criminal drug addict, cutting off my sentences, just completely not listening. My daughter was in the room with me, and we had been doing homework when he entered, and he proceeded to tell me that he would never refill a prescription for me--AS IF THIS WERE SOME HUGE IMPOSITION. It was unsettling, to say the least. He became increasingly offensive, I didn't understand it, I still don't understand it. Perhaps he hates his job. He was cold and rude to my daughter, too.

A little distracted-seeming but overall a nice guy who helped fix my (fairly minor) problem. The nurse however was mighty, mighty unpleasant. Seemed like he'd rather be anywhere else. But I guess I wasn't going there to meet friends. Overall a good visit.
