I've been a patient for over 5 years. He has stabilized my glaucoma but he is the most unpleasant doctor I have ever encountered. He treats you like a task and not a person. Does not like you to ask questions. I will be changing doctors.

While he may be a good doctor, I watched Dr. Zalta treat my elderly father with such disrespect, that I almost lost my temper in the room. He was dismissive and condescending to both of us. We have sinced changed doctors, and I would not recommend him. Believe me, I am not over-sensitive, nor is my Dad. It was just an unbelievably negative experience. I had seen it in previous appointments, but the last one was over the top.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zalta's for 5 years. My eyes have never felt better and my pressure has been great. Before seeing Dr. Zalta my eyes were constantly red and irritated. My previous Dr. had me on the wrong drops. Dr. Zalta corrected the problem quickly. I am so thankful.

I was referred to Dr. Zalta by another glaucoma specialist 6 years ago when my pressure was proving too difficult to bring under control with the usual treatment regimen. To date, Dr. Zalta has managed to bring my pressure to acceptable levels without resorting to cutting surgery. I find him to be an exacting, highly competent and professional medical provider and would recommend him highly.

My daughter has a rather complicated eye history and has been a patient of Dr. Zalta's for almost her entire life. His is an amazing surgeon! In addition to that, he has spent a lot of time explaining things to us in a way that makes sense. We have been so pleased with his care over the last 15 years.
