Dr. Alana is incredibly caring and listens to all my concerns She is truly knowledgeable about my osteoporosis She knows how to connect with the patient establishing a trusting relationship. I am grateful for having her as my physician. She shows genuine concern.

Dr. Serota is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors who ever treated me. She has gone above and beyond in every way. She is tenacious if getting to the etiology of your problem and is aggressive in its treatment. She has helped me and she could help you if needed. I highly recommend her it's worth the trip!!!

I wish I could tell you how doctor serota was but her staff was so nasty and refused to listen or make an appt. They said I had to have a referral from a specific list of orthopedics. It couldnt be mine. Ok no they wouldnt tell me who those were. Never mind the fact that I was 21 and had 6 fractures without trauma that wouldnt heal. They told me there are plenty of other doctors at HSS an ORTHOPEDIC hospital that could help. They hung up on me, another HSS office called them to try and get them to help me and they were nasty to them too. So that was my experience with office, maybe dr serota is great but if her staff is like that... it brings down the whole place. I ended up never getting to see dr serota, not even sticking with HSS.

Dr. Serota is fantastic! She is thorough, compassionate, takes time to explain all instructions and her reasons for recommendations. She is holistic in her approach, truly cares and makes you feel like you are in good hands. I've been to many different doctors to treat osteoporosis and she is by far the best! Highly, highly recommend!

Caring, thoughtful, listens

I was very anxious about medications for osteoporosis before I met Dr. Serota. She spent time with me explaining the risks and benefits of all of the treatment options and really explain to me what osteoporosis is and how dangerous fractures can be to your overall health.

Dr. Serota is a caring, brilliant Doctor. I recommend strongly.
