AWESOME DOCTOR! SHE WAS THOROUGH AND EXPLAINED THINGS WELL, GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER AND EVEN MADE ME LAUGH!

I'm a female 5' 10" 135lbs. I was transported to the Medical City of Arlington ER by EMS after suffering a direct blow to my chest by an adult male. I have Sickle Cell Anemia Disease and have had a Double Mastectomy. My chest is fragile and my disease already causes severe pain without needing to have extra trauma endeared. With a history of Sickle Cell Anemia I am used to visiting ER's and receiving medical care for pain. This doctor was not only insensitive but lacked moral character. Her treatment included a single X-ray from the front and no other angles. Also being in severe pain she prescribed NO MEDICATION after discharging me while I was still in severe pain. Enough pain that I reported to her that I was having trouble breathing. I was transported to the same hospital less than 24 hours later for the same symptoms and received the proper care. They gave me a proper X-ray of several angles, and also an MRI which they concluded I suffered from a Sternal Contusion. I was treated… properly with the other doctors from the same ER. They showed compassion and sent me home with pain medication. Dr. Alana Snyder was cold, lacked compassion and what Dr. discharges a patient without pain medication who has a disease that specifically causes pain??? In addition to receiving a blow to the chest from an adult male. She needs to be reprimanded!!!
