Costly and Ineffective Care: A Frustrating Experience with Alane. I went to Alane for some standard digestive issues. I asked for a food sensitivity test specifically so I could avoid foods that aggravate my digestive issues. She sent me around town to a series of other doctors, costing me over $1k in additional co-pays, only to return for my follow up and find that she did not manage to order the food sensitivity test I requested. All of the tests she ordered showed everything was fine. Frustrated at $1k wasted but further frustrated after talking to another medical professional who picked apart the incompetence of her approach. She initially tried to engage by email in response to my complaint but when I pushed for resolution she ghosted me. I will never be back to ensure the welfare of my health and my budget.
