Summary
I chose to become a Registered Dietitian (RD) after living in constant pain dealing with an undiagnosed chronic disease for the majority of my life before learning how to manage my disease and symptoms with nutrition. Being a dietitian allows me to help others do the same and improve overall quality of life through diet. My philosophy of care is to guide patients in reaching their target health goals through empathy, encouragement and education. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with my family.
