A horrible experience. She has no ability to listen, no compassion and likes to intimidate her patients.

Do your research and don’t let her touch you. I look in the mirror and all I see is mutilated breasts. No nipples and dog ears. Don’t have a breast reduction or reconstruction at Mayo Clinic. Go to a private practice and do your research. If I could give her a zero I would.

I had a breast reduction and Dr. Rebecca and I feel she butchered me. I have no nipples and I have dog ears. Second surgery was a breast reconstruction surgery she was going to get rid of the dog ears; however, I came out of that operation with an extra one. Still one nipple inverted and other one looks like a piece of chewed gum. Because I had fat necrosis she had to give me a double mastectomy with implants. The implants are not under the muscle. Now I have to have a third surgery to remove implants due to capsular contracture and new implants put back in. It was a total nightmare. I feel she was not truthful to me and I’ve had other doctors look at my breasts and they say, “I’m so sorry.”Do your research on any breast procedures and don’t have it done at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Rebecca is amazing! I research thoroughly before my procedures. I get second opinions, and I went in feeling very confident. I am very pleased with my results and know that I had the best surgeon working on me. I was fine being flat after breast cancer, but I took a chance, and I’m so happy to have shape to me again. Dr Rebecca and PA Lyndsey make the best team!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have a mastectomy. I decided the breast reconstruction I wanted was a DIEP flap. Dr. Rebecca said she could do the surgery. This surgery takes your stomach skin and fat to recreate a breast but no muscle. Taking no abdominal muscle was important to me. I had the surgery only for her to come into my room and tell me she took some of my muscle. Then at a post OP visit I learn from her that she already knew she couldn't do the DIEP flap surgery after reviewing my preop CT scans but at the preop visit she told me everything was a go for the surgery. She lied to me. It is bad enough that cancer takes your breast and you have no control but then a doctor that is to do no harm took away my choice again. It's like getting the cancer all over again. She isn't the least sorry or sympathetic for what she did.

Dr. Rebecca is the sweetest, most caring and skilled doctor I've ever dealt with. She is compassionate and her expertise knows no bounds. She'll answer any questions you have, no matter how long it takes. She is a wonderful doctor and I can't say enough good things about her.

I agree Dr. Rebecca is the best! This is the place for breast reconstruction surgery. She fixed the terrible job a plastic surgeon did a year ago on me, he was the worst and Dr. Rebecca knew exactly what to do to repair his damage. She was extremely confident from the first consult. I even went to other surgeons in the area who were not confident about doing the surgery. I am so happy with the results, and so grateful to have had her take care of me. Her staff is also wonderful. I wish I had found her when I first learned of my breast cancer, I would have been in such good hands with less pain and suffering.

Dr. Rebecca and her PA Lindsey are great! I am so glad I did surgery with them (arm liposuction and removal of extra skin). They are very compassionate. I knew I made the right choice starting with my first consultation. Its nice to find a great surgeon who also makes you feel comfortable. After surgery, when I called with questions, Lindsey would always call me right back. They were very patient with me. I am healing up nicely and am really happy with the results. You won't regret using Dr. Rebecca and her team. Plus they are at the Mayo clinic hospital - the doctors there are the best around - definitely a place I trust to do things like anesthesia.
