Dr. Albert Daniel Abrams, MD

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Abrams, I followed him from Orthopedic Associates of Allentown. As for the comment above, yes, he does dictate his office visit with you in the room and repeats information... that is just his style, by no means is he forgetting your situation, just confirming he has accurate info. Admittedly I am sometimes frustrated with how long I wait at an appointment, but then I am in the room and he takes the time to listen to me and truly cares... this makes me realize the wait is because he actually takes the time with you, rather than rushing you off for his next patient, totally worth it ! I had previously been bounced around from one orthopedic doctor to another with several surgeries under my belt until Dr. Abrams diagnosed me and has since taken over my care. I am sincerely sad that my insurance is no longer accepted by Coordinated Health, but I am still thinking of paying out of pocket to see Dr. Abrams, he works long hours and is truly… interested in helping people. As for his office staff, Marsha is wonderfully helpful, just leave a message and she'll call you back the next chance she gets. The rest of the staff is also nice, I just don't know all of their names. Hope this helps !

He asked me the same questions multiple times, as if he forgot. He kept me in the exam room while he dictated a letter to a doctor that I no longer visit for some unknown purpose. He told me I didn't have RA, then prescribed me drugs to treat it. At one point, he asked his assistant to Google a medical condition for him. I would've been better off reading a Wikipedia article or two and diagnosing myself.
