On my first visit to doctor Boyd, we went over my chart covering my medications. I had recently had colon cancer and was just two months out of the hospital. The first thing he wanted to do was take a blood sample. I explained that I had just had blood drawn numerous times in the hospital. I think he was more concerned with being able to charge for the bloodwork. Then it came time to get my prescription filled and after being out of my medication I called and ask what was going on. The staff explained that they had faxed it to the pharmacy. After calling the pharmacy and finding out they had not received anything. I called Boyd's office again and the staff said they would call me back. After 8 days no calls and no prescription filled. WORST DOCTOR EVER IN MY 66 YEARS. i DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE. ALL OF THIS AFTER ONLY 1 VISIT.

Very satisfied with my visit with Dr. Boyd. I like how when I got back to his office to actually see him, he was very attentive. He did get 1 call during my visit but he apologized and continued to give me his full attention. Wait time was longer than expected but over all great service. Even though there was a person trying to see him for pain medication and once the staff informed him at the window that Dr Boyd doesn't prescribe pain medication he lost it. He made a big scene. He was very rude to staff as well. Other than that no problems.

Even though he does have long wait times I realize when I got back to see him it's Because he actually takes the time to know you and actually trys to help you solve your health problems. He does answer calls during our visit but he apologized and I could hear they were important calls. Over all good Drs visit. And I am not one of his employees like one of the commentators stated. I am a patient.

There is a long wait past appointment time but he is willing to help patients receive medications they can afford and/or help patients apply for discounts with prescription companies.

This doctor is awful. Overtalked me. Took personal calls on cell during my appt. Dido not want to listen to my concerns and kept cutting me short. Will not discuss anything with me besides degrading me. He yells at me for asking questions. Even the staff is scared of him. He makes you tell him what meds you are on vs looking at your records. Gets mad when you don't lose the amount of weight that he wants you to loose by your next appointment. I would not refer anyone to him. Not even animals. I don't know who writes good reviews about him. Maybe his staff. He is very unprofessional.
