I am so grateful that my HMO and Chaparral Medical group led me to Dr. Chong and his staff. Dr. Chong is passionate about his work and gets excited when speaking about new techniques and medications. He is meticulous and precise when it comes to surgery. Pomona Valley Hospital's Joint Replacement Team was remarkable. Vicki and Allen who ran the class for surgery prep and physical therapy came the day of my surgery to get me up and walking. This is my second hip replacement with Dr. Chong (one on each side) and I would follow him if he were to practice elsewhere.

I have been under Dr Chong's care for the past six months he performed total knee replacements for both of my knees, his concern for ensuring that I totally understood the procedure, risks, therapy and recovery issues involved in this surgery process was totally understood before we scheduled the surgeries. Dr Chong's office staff was very helpful throughout the total process for both knee replacements. Dr. Chong is a true blessing to me. He listened carefully as I explained my symptoms and what activity level I wanted to get back to. He explained the medical options that would help get me back to that goal and he showed great compassion. He did a left knee arthroscopic surgery on me and I am so glad that I decided to have him do that. I followed his instructions for the post-op recovery and I'm as good as new and back to enjoying the outdoors and walking my dogs. Dr. Chong's office staff are also very friendly and professional. I got a broken knee and broken collar bone (clevical), both on the left hand side. Dr. Chong gave me 2 surgeries that were so successful that I would like to take this opportunity of thanking him for his skills and expertise. Under his guidance, I am recovering well, helped by weekly physical therapy plus gym work out.I am very grateful to him. Every time I went to follow up visit to Dr. Chong, he looked at the X-rays carefully and gave therapy instructions accordingly. All the patients I meet in the therapy center like Dr. Chong very much!!

Dr. Chong was fantastic! My 17 year old son had surgery on his shoulder from a dislocation. His surgery went so well and recovery was so quick. I believe he experienced less pain also after sugery due to Dr. Chongs excellent surgical skills and experience. My son was back to sports within 5 months post surgery. Truly cares about his patients.
