Dr Kao listens and he is so calming and caring. If you really give him truth about symptoms and situations he can figure it out. I appreciate that he always makes himself available for any and all situations. I feel very confident with his treatment of my mother. She is ESRD eith msny complications but he is always on top of records, test and procedures. We moved away but dtill continue to see him. You wont find another better than Dr Kao

Two years ago, I had lithotripsy to break a 1cm kidney stone. Since then, I had three 24 hour urine tests within two years. There were many unanswered questions for me to find out. I did all kinds of research online, also consulted with the dietician hoping to find the proper diets to prevent the stones from recurring. But ended up, I was cofused with all the overwhelming information. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to see Dr. Kao today, he is one of the most patient doctors I have ever seen, he took time to explain everything I needed to know. He was so kind and knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable to talk to him and asked him all kind of questions. I only seen him twice, but I really felt that he really cares. He explained to me why it's important for me to take the medication that I'm taking. What I need to do take care of myself. He was a very honest doctor. Very straight forward.
