Dr. Albert Mingtat Leung, MD

my mother had the same doctor for 25 yrs, then dr Leung took over his practice. Thinking this new dr would be as good as the retiring dr, my brother, mother, & I went under the care of dr Leung. We had been under his care for 3 yrs. My brother was sick for 2 days lying in bed thinking he had the flu. On the night of the 2nd day I called dr Leung & told him of the strange way my brother was talking to me, not being able to breathe correctly, kind of in a whistling expression, also, not being able to move his left side or raise his body out of bed, having chills & no balance I helped him out of bed by raising him with both of his arms around my neck. I asked dr Leung if my brother could be having a stroke, he said "Oh dont say that". He told me to bring him into the office the next day. My brothers condition was still the same in the morning. When arriving at the office his secy hands me a form & tells me to go to the 2nd flr to take xrays. Then getting to the 2nd flr, they tell me I… have no appt & have to wait an hr. Do you think dr Leung could of arranged anything before hand? No, of course not. I then decided to take my brother to Straub hospital Emergency which was the best decision made by me, with no medical background. Has dr Leung even called 11 days to see how my brother, his patient that he is supposed to care for? No! I am really disapointed...Especially remembering dr Leung's secy remark when we left the office for the 2nd flr xray office,"Dr doesnt make hospital calls".
