Been calling all day and no one returns calls. When I have seen the doctor he is rushed to leave. I’m on the verge of looking for a new doctor.

Not an intelligent doctor, Does not attempt to help towards healing in any way. Terrible staff, Never answers the phone, you must walk in the office to get through to anyone. I no compassion or skill, if your not good at one of those things you should at least try to make it up on one end or the other. Strongly recommend to avoid the terrible care you will receive from this doctor.

Dr. Mason did all the tests necessary to find out what was causing my low hemoglobin, including a lower GI exam, the swallow the camera exam and finally a Cat Scan which pointed to a fairly rare vein intrusion into the colon and bleeding. Since this is fairly rare and it takes a very expensive scope to get to the end of the small intestine I will have to go to Phoenix AZ and the Mayo Clinic to get in there and find out what can be done. The doctor is very precise and wrote down all the latin names of the problems and what I should expect. I didn't go to Dr. Mason to be my friend I went to him because my Primary Care doctor thinks he is a good doctor and that is what I needed.

DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT PATIENTS. Finding another doctor. Awkward encounter & body language is a understatement. Waited 2 hours + , spent less than 5 minutes with me, asked almost no questions, explained very little, would not make much eye contact. Very surprised, did not expect this

I have been seeing Dr. Mason since about 2003. I did find him to be extremely short but to the point. He won't waste your time or his because he can't tell what is going on with your GI track until you have had tests. It took me until my third GI incident to realize he won't tell you what's going on without taking a look and of course he'll tell it to you at every â??newâ?? visit. Now I go in and say, â??I know, you can't tell what's what until you go in and lookâ??. I have never had any conversation problems â?? I talk, he listens or he talks and I try to butt in! We have discussions about medications - what's working or not; what's going on with me (and him if I can get him to talk!) that could bring on the issue(s). He's great and I don't know what I would do without him.

We have been trying and trying to get a hold of him! Impossible! They do NOT return calls or anything. I am having my husband ask for a referral to another doctor for him. He really liked Dr. Mason, but not returning calls or anything is NOT good nor professional in my book. And I have worked in the medical field for over 32 years!!!

This Doctor needs to be investigated. He wrongly diagnoses patients or doesn't diagnose them at all and is always in a hurry to do a procedure only to heighten the charges. I would stay far away from this doctor.

compassionate, caring, skilled. Good sense of humor and makes you feel as if you are his only patient for the day.

I have UC and just moved to the area. I am due for my follow bi-annual colonoscopy. I have only been twice. First time, like someone else mentioned, waited over an hour before even seen and only spent 10 minutes with me. He had me do some blood test. My follow up visit was to get my results from my blood test. Again, an hour before seen, just to tell me that the blood test were fine. A phone call could have sufficed!! Then he said he'll see me in 6 months. UM, if you read my records that my previous Dr. sent says I am do in a month for my follow up. So why are you putting me off for 6 months?!?! It's been 2 years since my last one. Next, I get a bill $94 for the 1st visit, fine, 1st consultation, whatever. Then I got my EOB stating $94 will be charged to me for the follow up, WHAT? I don't think so. I called the office, "Hmmm, I just don't know why the computer did that, we'll fix it." Yea, how many times have they done that and the patient didn't catch it?!?! Then it took over… a week to get my RX refilled. Save yourself TIME and money look elsewhere. I won't be back.
