I’ve gone to Dr. Odom for over 24 years. He delivered my twin boys. I’ve always received excellent care and compassion with Dr. Odom. He is a true professional and expert in his field.

Dr Odem is about to save my life. No other obgyn beleive I had PMDD or endo but he does. Ive seen him twice and now awaiting my surgery date for my full hysterectomy. It's sad I've been pushed aside for 5 years to suffer. Dr. Oden listens and he explains and takes the time with his patients.

I recently went for my annual exam and a cyst was found. Dr. Odom stated that he would like to perform a surgery laparoscopically and he could do it using the robot technology. After receiving this news, I spoke with several experts in the field and they advised me that if it was not absolutely necessary I shouldn't get the robotics surgery. One main reason was that the cost of the surgery was significantly higher than the regular laparoscopic surgery. I explained my concerns with Dr. Odom and he instantly got an attitude. He asked me "Is your friend going to do the surgery?" This question really got to me because it was very unprofessional. I explained to Dr. Odom that if this surgery was complicated and it needed to be done with the robotic technology then we could definitely do it that way. He then said that it could be done that way. As the consultation ended, Dr. Odom says to me "by the way, tell your friend I said thanks... If only I could help her the way she helped me." This… comment just sent me through the roof! I could not believe that a physician could be so unprofessional, rude, condescending, and arrogant. This comment sealed the deal for me and affirmed that he only wanted to do the robotics surgery because of how lucrative it would be for him. My health, my concern, and my choices were not important to him. All in all, I am very disappointed and upset at the way I was treated and I will never return to this practice. It has always been my thought that a patient has rights.. It is my right to ask questions about my health, as it is my body and I am my number one advocate. I have lost all trust in this doctor and I have cancelled the surgery. If you are looking for a Gynecologist, I would not recommend Dr. Odom at all.

Dr. Odom is fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is very caring and he understands if you are having a hard time he will work with you.I believe Dr. Odom is one of God's Angels here on earth to help people.
