Dr Albert Scott Jr

Last time i Waze him was years ago at Dekalb women’s specialists in lithonia. I had an appointment with Dr. Albert Scott. At the end of my appointment he told me that i was over weight and to “lose some weight or else no man is gonna want you”. He had some nerve to say such a thing and whole time he had what appeared to be a cold sore on his mouth. He is a misogynistic piece of work. No matter how many years ago that was I never did forget about that interaction. I was in such shock and disbelief that a medical “professional” would say such a thing to a patient. Very unprofessional. To top it off i called to make a formal complaint and the woman i spoke to laughed and gave a weak apology. She can keep it. Screw you all. You better be glad i have such a high self esteem and didn’t go into depression over this horrible ordeal. They have a lawsuit just waiting to happen conducting their practice in this manner. I haven’t been back since. Good riddance

Simply put...he’s the best!!!

Dr. Scott and his staff are excellent. With my procedure, Dr. Scott was very informative and knowledgeable. His confidence in the procedure made me feel more at ease. I also appreciate the fact that he keeps current with new procedures as I has a robotic hysterectomy. He is wise and funny and knows how to make you feel at ease with whatever you're dealing with. I have been going to Dr. Scott since 2003 and it is because of him, my high risk pregnancy was a success!! My son is now a healthy 15 year old and it is all because of the care I received there at DeKalb's Women's Specialists.

When I was diagnosed with a serious condition he assisted in making the decision to have surgery rather than a medication therapy that my doctor was insisting on. It was a great decision which probably saved my life.

Had a wonderful experience

Dr. Scott is very cold and lacks bedside manner. He was very nonchalant about a life or death issue when it came to my pregnancy and child. No kind words, no words of encouragement just told me to hope and pray in a uncaring tone. I should have known better on a previous appointment he had a cell phone call that seemed to be more important than me the patient. There is a old saying it's not what you do is how you do it. It looks as if he has become desensitized after many years in practice. He needs a refresher course as to why he became a doctor in the first place or he should retire.

Dr. Scott has been my ob/gyn for over 10 years. He diagnosed my fibroids, treated them agressively, preserved my fertility and later performed my c-section. He is open and honest about your care and options and stays current in his field of practice. I was referred to him and have referred others and we are all happy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scott's for 16 years he is in my opinion the best. Dr. Scott is very caring and professional, he really cares about the overall health of his patients.I have referred several friends and family members to Dr. Scott and they feel the same as I do, he is the best. I hope he NEVER retires.......
