What a portion of a cactus (haha - no prof. my rear)! No bedside manner whatsoever.

As good of a pain management Doctor one could hope for. A very empathetic human being with a sweet staff.

Dr. Shaw is my favorite doctor - and I have quite a few. Yes, I agree with the 2 comments that were negative in that he can sometimes come off as a grumpy sorta guy, but once you get to really know the man inside of the doctor you will find a very compassionate Christian man that truly cares about his patients. As far as spending time with his patients, you can find no doctor (in my opinion) better at the delicate balancing act of keep a good patient flow without sacrificing the needs of the individual patient. As far as his knowledge of pharmacology and the body, I will trust his opinion as well as any doctor I see. The one thing I want to remind people of: he sees people in pain and sometimes WE are the real grumpy ones.

I LOVE THIS OFFICE, FIRST THE DECOR IS CHRISTIAN BASED AND I THINK THAT IS SOMETHING WE NEED MORE OF. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND THAT HELPS ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE HURTING AND DON'T FEEL WELL. DR. SHAW WAS VERY UP FRONT WITH ME WHICH WAS REFRESHING, HE DID NOT RUSH ME OUT LIKE SOME DOCS DO, HE TOOK TIME TO HEAR ALL MY ISSUES. HE TOLD ME THINGS ABOUT MY HEALTH THAT NO OTHER DOCS HAVE TOOK TIME TO DO. I LOVE THAT HE IS DOWN TO EARTH, A REAL PERSON, NOT A ROBOT IN A UNIFORM. I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE I KNOW. WHO HAS PAIN, HE IS WONDERFUL. WHEN I STARTED SEEING HIM I COULD HARDLY WALK AND NOW MY PAIN IS ALMOST NON EXSISTANT. I HAD READ A REVIEW THAT SOMEONE LEFT ABOUT HIM AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW ANYONE COULD SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THAT OFFICE ESPECIALLY DR. SHAW.

I should have known what I was dealing with, when I walked into the doctors office; it was old and the decor was hideous along with staffs dress code. The staff did not greet you or smile. The staff was talking about patients loud enough were you could hear them in the waiting room. As I was placed in a room, a staff member talked to me then like I was a golden egg. She was telling me that I could call her at anytime, but what she really meant was, don't call me at all, you bother me. I found the doctor to be alittleb

Dr. Shaw takes the time on each and every visit to make sure he addresses all issues. I have had at least three other pain management doctors before ...

Very unprofessional and just plain RUDE!
