Dr. Albert Tse, MD

Both my husband and I were very positively impressed when I was a patient on a Sunday afternoon at Winthrop Urgent Center. Dr. Tse was professional and easy to dialogue with during an examination after which he referred me to the Emergency Department. Many hours and several tests later, Dr. Tse’s initial diagnosis proved to be correct. I was fortunate to have Dr. Tse as my provider, he is a competent clinician who can be quick to diagnose and cautious enough to know when follow up care is needed. To put it in my husband’s vanacular “he’s sharp”.

Poor bedside manners. Patronizes you and undermines your conditions! Laughs at you when you describe life threatening illnesses and very poor diagnostician! Very disappointed & dissatisfied!

I am telling anyone who ask to avoid this doctor. I found him to be incompetent. I had a severe infections indicated by my blood work and symptoms. He refuse to prescirbe antibiotics. Never responded to x ray results. I had to be seen by another doctor to be treated properly. The second doctor also questioned Tse diagnostic skills. Should not be seeing patients. Also, never makes eye contact with you! Does not give the impression he hears what you are saying or cares to.

I would never recommend or go back to him. He was dismissive and when I tried to explain symptoms he would cute off. Found him to be rude, clearly was more interested in getting in and out as quick as possible! As for diagnosis - refused to send for a CT scan for my back but rather said I would only do a scan if I was doing surgery! Well how can you diagnose a herniated disc and say surgery but not scan! A complete waste of my time and and made to feel unimportant!

Dr. Tse is too fast. He'd rather write a prescription than invest time in me as his patient....

Very smart doctor from what I can tell. His visits are just too quick. There is not enough time spent discussing solutions and preventive maintenance.
