Dr. Cepeda is the best doctor!!! To who ever wrote the comment about him leaving for vacation (he well deserves it) That is complete nonsense, BELIEVE ME. (Oh honey im pretty sure you had an epidural, not a complete natural birth!) Eventually preecplamsia does develop quickly and with the protein in the urine it doesnt help at all......By the way never have i heard about Dr.Cepeda leaving his patients after delivery or during labor. He is the only doctor who actually doesn't leave his drop in patients to the other doctors. After all, ask all the ladies who have delivered with him, how he is.He is honest and tells you how it is. Most of all everyone knows if you go in the hospital, and the nurses know you are his patient, they will be all over you trying to make you feel comfortable... Bottom line he is the BEST doctor and wouldnt put you or your baby in any danger!!!! (Also the staff is great!!!)

Dr. Cepeda pulled the oldest trick in the book.He scared me into being induced when I told him I wanted a completely natural and medical intervention free birth. Two days after he told me I was in perfect health he told me I had protein in my urine and that it could be preeclampsia. I might have seizures or blood pressure problems and of course it could hurt my child. So I headed to the hospital immediately.The hospital staff is a different story...As it turns out, he went on vacation the day after he delivered my son. How convenient for him that I developed preeclampsia the day before he left to drink mojitos on the beach in Colombia.
