I recently had a lower lid blepharoplasty performed by Dr. Distefano, and I couldn't be happier! From the first visit, Dr. Distefano was not only incredibly kind, but also demonstrated remarkable talent and expertise. He took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The results are fantastic—my eyes look refreshed and youthful. I have had two successful surgeries at the Bronx VA hospital in the Bronx with Dr. Distefano. the first corrected a previous lid surgery and the second was a brow lift to enhance peripheral vision. I am so grateful to Doctor for compassionately addressing my concerns at a veterans hospital when he could have easily dismissed me. He could have said "others have more pressing concerns than you, therefore I don't have time for you,"or "see me in my private practice" which would not have been an option for me. Not only is my peripheral vision PERFECT, my eyes are more open, I appear more alert, and can apply eyeshadow correctly! Dr. Distefano is an amazing physician who is truly an expert in his craft, but also is emphatic and compassionate towards his patients. I had the best surgical experience with Dr. Distefano. The results of the eye surgery I had significantly improved my quality of life. He is an honest physician who delivers remarkable results. He was always patients and able to answer all my questions, which made me even more trusting and confident to be in his care. Overall, Dr. Distefano is a doctor I respect and trust. Dr. Distefano really cares about making sure I understood my options and made me feel like I had a say in my care plan. He is certainly a top doc who I trust with my face and eyes! Although I did not have to wait long, I would not have minded if I had to wait a bit. His staff is top notch too!

first off he doesnt rush he listens to his Patients as well as thoroughly discusses everything. His bedside manner is amazing. hes very knowledgeable and i hope he never leaves ,great doctors come around once in awhile hes one of them !!

Dr. Distefano discussed my condition with me, including all of my options. He answered my questions without making me feel rushed. He has a great bedside manner, and would highly recommend him.
