Dr. Alberto Martini, MD

Performed radical nephrectomy left kidney. May be talented in the surgery itself but left A LOT to be desired with follow up and patient communication. Allowed patient to discharge from hospital after 15 days without an official diagnosis. Didn’t perform a PET scan for baseline. Didn’t perform a CT or PET scan post surgery. Aggressive cancer has now spread. Sent home with acetaminophen after spending 8 nights in ICU and 2 week total stay. Also told patient to go off blood thinners 6 days prior to surgery with multiple blood clots. This would have been the end for him. He wasn’t present for the first post surgery visit. This was the visit where a consultation was supposed to happen w family because Dr Martini never consulted w family in hospital on future treatment options or outcomes. I could go on and on but you get the picture. He’s underwhelming on all levels and will be fired as our urologist. Don’t choose him unless you seek disappointment.
