Dr. Albina Salas Gogo, MD

My kids are adults now and one of them has a child now and they have said they wish their child had her as doctor. We all live in a different state now but they still talk about her in their 20s and 30s. She is what they still compare other doctors too. All 3 of my kids had her from the 90's through early 2000s. I believe at that point she ended up at U.C. Davis hospital where my youngest son ended up. When she head he was there she was in his room talking to us and going over things with his doctors there. I feel like she treated him as one of her own. So in my families eyes she is the best doctor all 3 of my kids ever had. For them to still mention her all this time later says alot!! She was one in a million.

Dr. Gogo is great. She took care of my son in the hospital when he was born and since he had some issues with weight loss we continued to see her after discharge. She is very nurturing to both the kiddos and the parents, which as a brand new sleep deprived mother I really needed! She takes the time in the office to really listen to concerns and explains everything very clearly. We drive about 30 minutes past another pediatricians office just to see Dr. Gogo, I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Gogo was our ped for our boys from 1996 about 2000 when we had to change health insurance. She was always wonderful with my sons who both have autism. She was very patient with me being a new, stressed out Mom and never made me feel rushed!You may wait a bit in waiting room but that's b/c she gives patients and parents needed time!

When my daughter was 9 years old, Dr. Gogo discovered that she had a heart issue. She got her into a pediatric cardiologist within a day and 2 weeks later she had open heart surgery. Without Dr.Gogo I would have lost her and my world would have ended. I adore Dr. Gogo and would (and have) recommended her to several people. She is NOT rude, she just doesn't have time to deal with ignorant people who feel that they are the only people on the face of the earth. Ignore the previous patients comments and take your child to a doctor that really knows her stuff.

Dr. Gogo has a horrible bedside manner. She is rude and disrespecful. It's hard to get an appoitment when you need one. I loath her and do not recommend her.
