Overall this is a very good clinic. They have almost everything onsite that you would have at a hospital. They are able to take x-rays, they have a fully furnished lab, they can also do ultrasounds as well as many other things. The only problem that I have with this clinic is that you never, and I mean never get to see a doctor. You only see nurse practitioners. The only time I saw Dr. Bivona was on my first visit like 3 years ago. I had made an appointment specifically with Dr. Bivona a few months back and asked to see him by name and told the receptionist that I did not want to see a nurse practitioner because I had something that I felt was serious going on at the time. The receptionist told me that it wouldn't be a problem to see Dr. Bivona but it would take a few weeks longer to get into see him because his schedule was so full. I felt do to the seriousness of my problem that it would be worth the wait so I took the appointment. A couple weeks pass and the day arrives for my… appointment. I walk in and said I have an appointment with Dr. Bivona. The receptionist said well we have you down with one of the nurse practitioners. I said no mam, I made this appointment a few weeks ago and even had to wait longer to be able to see a doctor. Dr. Bivona in specifically. She began to get rude and said well you can see the nurse practitioner or you can leave. So I left. Its getting to where it doesn't matter where you go these doctors offices want you to see a nurse practitioner all in order to save the doctor's office money and to save the insurance companies money.
