Met him when I was admitted to North Central Baptist for bilateral pneumonia. Checked on me every day on my 8 days there and was always kind and pleasant. Very complete follow up visits. Liked everything about him.

My friend was an inpatient after a horrific car accident and had to have a tracheotomy. After several days of having the trach plugged during the day and a successful 24 hour trial she was supposed to have the trach completely removed. Then mid afternoon on this day she finds out from the respiratory tech that instead of being removed it will be downsized. This doctor changed his mind without ever seeing my friend. When he finally graces us with his presence we find out that he changed his mind because he wasn’t going to be here the next day. She’s in a hospital, there are other pulmonologists on call. So he pulls out her current trach and shoves the new one in without sedation or medication. In doing this he inflicted more trauma causing swelling, introduced blood into her airway, caused an increase in her mucosal secretions from this new assault, and delayed her discharge. Since my friend is paying for this out of her own pocket she should bill him for the additional… days.

Dr. Parodi's care in the ICU of 4 days was excellent. After care is going very well, also. I am grateful for his being there. He is no nonsense, and I feel his attention to detail and decades of experience, contributed to my recovery.

Treated my family with disrespect. Will never use him again. He should be in another business that has no social contact.

Dr. Parodi has the worst bedside manner with his patients than I have ever seen. I manage many physician’s offices and I’m just in shock how he handles patients in a very insensitive manner. My 58-year-old Mother has been having issues with her breathing/lungs and went to him on a referral from her insurance. He took one CT scan and one breathing test and told her she had IPF (idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) and told her to come back in 6 months and “we would see,” (with a smile on his face might I add.) He did not give her any educational reading for her to understand what this disease was and did not really explain it to her either. She did what any other confused patient would do and went to her car to google it and we all know google can scare the you know what out of you. The first thing she read was that basically she would end up suffocating to death due to the scar tissue forming in her lungs and has 3-5 years to live. She sat there and cried alone for hours while trying to… figure out how to explain this to her kids and husband. After we “her kids” made her go to another pulmonary specialist, she was told that none of that was true and he had not even done the long term testing that was necessary to even give her that type of diagnosis. We found out that she was in the initial stages of Pulmonary Fibrosis “and not the bad kind which was Idiopathic that Dr. Parodi gave her which was a terminate death sentence for.” She now has something to live for instead of how she left Dr. Parodi’s office. This is the difference in a good doctor versus a terrible one. Some physicians should not be able to practice medicine and this guy is one of them!

Dr. Parodi is a wonderful physician!!! He is very caring and very good at explaining the diagnosis in which you are told. His office staff is wonderful especially his medical assistant. She is very good and always doing everything she possibly can to make sure we the patients are happy. If anyone has something bad to say I think you are out of your mind crazy.

Dr. Parodi has been seeing my mom for a few month's now. She has never waited long for her doctor visits, and he always takes his time. My mom has several other specialist she sees, and Dr. Parodi calls them to make sure they are all on the same page and are in agreement with treatment. Overall, I really like him.
