Dr. Alecia A Hanes, MD

All I can say is that we have gone to Dr. Hanes with two generations of my family. She is a strong child advocate.

The best pediatrician we have ever seen! Our visits are always smooth! Very short waiting time, lots of quality time, and lots of dedication to making sure my kids are treated properly and efficiently. Definitely recommend!

Dr hanes was very knowledgeable and thorough. I was very impressed with the.friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms.One thing i must mention is that the office manager Krista is a wonderful and always has a smile on her face! I highly recommend taking chikdren to Dr.Hanes

Dr. Hanes is the best dr you can find for your kids. I have always had a great experience with the whole staff. Any time I need to get my kids in to be seen they are always able to get them in that same day. I love that! I know that if my kids are ever sick or need anything they are only a phone call away. I love that they have walk-ins every morning for just in case reasons. Everyone working there is always so nice and caring. I would recommend Dr. Hanes and her staff to anyone!!

I took my child to see Dr. Hanes for a flu shot, vaccine, and to just do a wellness exam while we were there. My child hasn't been sick for almost 2 years. Medical Assistant walked into the room with a laptop and preceded asking a lot of private , personal questions (about 30). I asked what these personal questions have to do with getting my child examined. She said she was just doing her job. I told her I refused to answer them, so she went and got the PA, who walked in the room with the laptop and said she knew how to deal with parents like me, she worked at the childrens hospital for 5 yrs. Then Dr. Hanes came to the room and said, I could thank Obama for them asking all these personal questions. I asked Dr. Hanes why the government is gathering all this personal info. from parents. She didn't know. I refused to answer them, and then she threatened me that sometimes Insurance won't pay for the visit. I said, in this country we still have a right to refuse to… answer a question, and if insurance refuses to pay just because I refuse to tell them, then I'll pay for the visit. So this doctor ran charges up to 556.00 and used billing codes that my insurance won't pay, just because she was mad. She charged $50 for a flu shot that is $25 even at Walgreens, and charged me $35 to administer the shot as well. All vaccines are covered in full with my insurances. Anyway I won't bore you with what she did with all the other charges. She just lost us as clients, and I want people to be aware that we should never have to divulge what we do in our private lives to a doctor. I don't believe it takes a village. I don't see anyone paying for the roof over our heads, or for the food we eat. Until then, they don't have the right to get into our private lives.

I have gone to Dr Hanes for years and I love her. But her office staff are discourteous and rude and you cannot get past them to even speak with her about it. I am just sick that I have to search for another pediatrician to manage my children's care. But I don't feel like she even cares that she is losing patients because of her staff. She is busy enough.

This Doctor has been in practice and has does not treat her patients well. He staff is very rude and have hung up the phone when I have called. I asked for medical records and it took almost four months to get the medical records copied.

Took my child in and the nurse and other staff were wonderful. When the doctor came in she was more focused on entering her information on her computer than listening to me. She didn't really listen to me at all. Will not be going back.

I love Dr hanes and all her staff. We had a dr and my baby was sick very sick i had taken him to other dr and she said it was allergies than ignored me after that. DR hanes wasn't even our dr yet but still got him in and she knew right off the bat what it was RSV she is the best dr EVER We love her and are so happy we became a part of her practice. Take my word I have 4 kids and will never trust anyone but dr hanes. It takes alot to find that one special dr so glad I finally DID!
