Dr. Alecsandra Olese Roberts-Peete, MD

My first visit with Dr. Roberts was wonderful. She was caring and went over all of my issues with thoughtfulness and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Roberts to anyone who needs health care and to all my friends.

Dr. Rboerts is extremely caring and listens to what you have to say. She is thorough and takes time to explain anything you don't understand. I have recommended her to all my friends.

I’ve never felt so unheard and angry after seeing a physician. I do not recommend this doctor and will be switching immediately. None of my concerns were listened to and nothing that I came for was addressed. Rather I was talked to in a rude, short tone with assumptions that my requests were unnecessary or incorrect.

Dr Roberts, Is very lazy....wayyy into herself.

I found Dr. Roberts to be very professional and thoughtful on my first and 2nd visit. She asked all sorts of questions and seemed to be very diligent at recording it all in the laptop. The wait room leaves a lot of comfort to be desired and I'd love to have the option of NOT listening to the videos that make you paranoid of other potential health concerns. MD offices make me nervous enough without cold chairs, bare floor and health videos on cancer, etc. How about some form of warm texture and some relaxation music? Also, the office staff was a little slow but just today I called for a follow up and the person was a lot more professional.

Dr. Roberts has been my primary care physician for nearly 20 years. I see her, at minimum, one a year for a physical. In all the years she been my doctor, my biggest complaint is an occasional (not consistent) long wait in the waiting room. Dr. Roberts is a very friendly, outgoing, funny doctor who doesn't make you feel like you're rushed or like you're inconveniencing her with your illness or questions. I also like the fact that she returns calls personally, even when just giving test results. Her office staff is friendly and there's usually no problem getting an appointment when I need one. I've been so pleased with my experience that when my daughter outgrew her pediatrician, I began taking her to see Dr. Roberts as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Roberts.

Dr. Roberts is both personable and knowledgeable. When I called to schedule an appointment for a physical I was able to get one in a little over a weeks time. She did a thorough examination and also provided a referral to a dermatologist as I had requested. The referral was sent directly to the office and I made an appointment right away. I also asked them to complete paperwork for my nursing program and they did so within two business days. Dr. Roberts called me personally to tell me when it was finished. My husband needed an emergency appointment at this office and they were very accommodating. The manager approved for him to be seen as he first appointment of the day when they did not have any openings. I highly recommend Dr. Roberts.

The short of it is, my girlfriend of six yrs saw Dr. Roberts twice about a lump. My girlfriend has a PPO. She was diagnosed by a ENT doc. with cancer. Her mother has also died of cancer young. Dr. Roberts referred and faxed her tests to an oncologist. Since we have a PPO we asked could she fax them to Cedars since they are renowned for cancer. She flat out refused and hung up on my girlfriend and said she was done with her cause she wouldn't use her referral. And just mailed her tests to her and quit on her within 24 hrs of being diagnosed with cancer. Wouldn't release them to us and we were trying to get them asap to schedule an oncologist to see what stage she is at. All because her ego is so big that her referral wasn't used. Needless to say one of the most shocking experiences of our lives by a doctor during a horrific time for us.

I have had my share of good doctors, bad doctors and TERRIBLE doctors. Dr. Roberts has been my doctor now for 7 years at least, and always talks to me like a person, not a patient. She jokes when she has the time, is very personable and lets me ask questions. She is always professional and makes the uncomfortable appointments (pap smear) less so. I have a mother, so I don't need one in a doctor. I take an active part in my health, and so does she. Oh, and she always returns my calls personally.

I would reccommend Dr. Roberts to my friends. her office is not fancy or plush, it's pretty basic, but Dr. Roberts has grown on me as we've gotten to know each other. She is friendly, listens to my concerns and spends the time necessary with me to figure out what's going on. Her office staff is helpful and friendly, and I have not had any problems with scheduling appointments.
