Dr Alena Levit, MD

Dr. Alena Levit completed her breast imaging fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and her Radiology Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She attended medical school at Ross University. Dr. Levit has presented at national conferences including RSNA, ARRS, and AUR and has had publications in the Journal of Clinical Imaging Science and Ultrasound Quarterly.

Dr. Levit is a clinical expert in breast cancer imaging and procedures including mammography, ultrasound, tomosynthesis, MRI, percutaneous biopsies( including stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI biopsies), and needle-wire localizations. She is dedicated to provide evidence-based, compassionate, empathetic, efficient care that reflects patients individual values and preferences. She believes in actively engaging patients in their care through education and clear communication.

When not at work, she enjoys time with her family being active outdoors and involved in her community.
