Dr. Alene P Strahan, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Strahan for over 20 years. She honestly cares about her patients. Astute, compassionate and intuitive she went above and beyond when my husband was dying from cancer during Covid. I highly recommend her.

She was the equivalent of a drug dealer disguised as a doctor. She just piled on the prescriptions one on top of the other and when I experienced medical side effects from the medication, she started adding other prescriptions such as blood pressure medicine although I did not have high blood pressure just a side effect of shaking from the psych meds. I was hospitalized 2 times as a direct result of the psych meds not from a medical condition. The last hospitalization nearly cost me my life and I never heard from her when she was notified of my hospitalization. I was misdiagnosed and no longer require psych meds.

She is a brilliant, compassionate, and generous psychiatrist. Dr. Strahan is an extraordinary/dedicated physician and an outstanding person. I moved from Manhattan to Florida and no one here can even come close to her competence and caring. A++
