Dr. Gilde was great did an excellent job with my knee replacement

My total hip replacement met 100% of expectation and beyond. Dr. Gilde is a consummate professional - explains thoroughly and spends time, giving his full attention. He is a very skilled surgeon and partners with the patient to strive for optimal outcome. He is very caring and straight forward, and answers any and all questions patiently. His team is awesome, too, making sure one feels truly cared for.

Couldn’t be happier with my replacement.

Dr.Gilde did my knee replacement surgery on my right knee. I had a wonderful experience with the surgery. Even my physical therapist said my surgeon did a wonderful job. Within 3 weeks I was able to walk without any assistance and to drive.

I recently was evaluated for a worsening of a chronic condition at the local uc by this doctor. He was compassionate, thorough and intelligent, and seemed to really care about me and the staff. He seemed very knowledgeable about my worsening arthritis, and prescribed some medication to help with my flare. He even called later, just to make sure the therapy was working and that I was able to follow up with my primary care doctor.

I saw this doctor at an urgent care. He didn't care about my history and didn't listen to my concerns at all. Told me very obviously wrong medical information, such as, it takes 5 days for ibuprofen to build up in your system. I am not an idiot and he treated me like crap. Huge condescending attitude. I asked for another doctor, and they said their was not one available. After the nurse said there was. Over all terrible experience by this doctor.
