Dr. Gorbonos and his team were exceptional in the treatment and care of my cancerous prostate. From performing the initial biopsy to its removal with state of the art equipment, Dr. Gorbonos was patient and thorough in discussing the diagnosis and treatment options. I'm extremely confident in his professional expertise, and appreciate his sincere concern, calm demeanor and wit he showed throughout the process. I had a major surgery undertaken by Dr. Gorbonos late last year. He was caring, detail, and provide much confidence for me prior to the surgery. He was the second surgeon that had to resolved some unfinished business from the prior surgeon. I wished I had met Dr. Gorbonos earlier and I may have saved my kidney.

Dr. Gorbonos did my nephrectomy in 2016. I had a stage 3 level 4 tumor. He successfully removed the kidney and 13 lymph nodes. The surgery left minimal scars. My recovery was great and on schedule. Dr. Gorbonos takes the proper amount of time with his patients, explaining the whole procedure. I am very happy with his care.

Dr. Gorbonos Gave me excellent care and saved my kidney and really my life. I had a very complicated surgery he got rid of my cancer and saved my kidney, other Dr's said they would have to remove the whole kidney. So very happy I found Dr. Gorbonos!! His follow up was just as incredible.

I can't imagine a better overall surgical experience than what I received with Dr. Gorbonos and his associates at Loyola. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful and considerate. Those are all great attributes, but of minor importance if he wasn't also a great surgeon - which he was! He was able to remove my cancer, which was in a particularly difficult spot on my kidney, save the kidney, and remove enough surrounding tissue to give me great results from pathology. My recovery was incredibly quick and relatively pain-free. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Dr. Gorbonos.

Thankful to be referred to Dr. Gorbonos for treatment of my bladder cancer. He always takes whatever time is needed to explain the rationale behind any procedures and makes sure that you understand exactly what is going on and what is planned. He has always welcomed my husband and family into any discussions and addresses any questions that they have as well. My surgery was long, but recovery was uncomplicated - always a worry with any surgery, but especially for the one I had.

Dr. Gorbonos although he looks like kid he certainly has the expertise of a seasoned professional. My 10 hour surgery went extremely well. Dr Gorbonos continued to update my anxious waiting family. He was very concern after my surgery and would check up even when I went home. If there were any concerns he was working overtime to find a resolve. Very pleasant and he saved my life!!!
