Dr. Alex Daniel Green, DO

Awful. Terrible bedside manner. Ignored most of the symptoms. Overly simplistic diagnosis, and no lab work. Will not be returning

Dr. Alex Green is an outstanding doctor! He took my son in right away diagnosed his stomach issue and started a treatment plan. My son is already starting to feel so much better. I can’t say enough how thankful I am to Dr. Green and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Green lacked sympathy and understanding. He did not explain the reasons for his opponions and simply told us to follow a strict diet or my daughter wont get better. He also encouraged me not to be "overly vigilant" in front of my daughter when I asked him how to ease my daughter's pain. I don't generally write reviews but I don't want other kids and parents to have to go through what I did to end up with no answers. He should try to follow the fodmap diet himself and see how hard it is. Maybe he will gain empathy for his patients.

Dr. Green miss diagnosed me with the incorrect G.I disorder which I had none of the symptoms of. Only after we got a Second opinion did we find out that has mistake could have cost me my life.

I took my son to see Dr Green for chronic vomiting one year ago. My husband and I are both physicians and we were appalled at the lack of knowledge and the poor bedside manner of this physician. He never made eye contact. He had not reviewed any of the records. He was rude and was unable to come up with any working diagnosis of what condition my son had. When we started the second opinion process with Boston Children's at Harvard we found out that they could not find any records on my son because Dr Green had spelled his name wrong on all the records. This was of course no surprise to us given that the rest of his professional work was also completely substandard. I love Lurie Childrens and they have been amazing in taking care of my kids. However, they unfortunately lowered their standards quite significantly when hiring Dr Green. Professional competence is a must in medicine.
