Dr. Alex Hecht, DDS graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1976, and has since become one among Staten Island’s most highly regarded dentists. Having treated nearly 10,000 patients, the vastness of his experience, knows no boundaries. Dr. Alex Hecht takes pride in his dedication to changing peoples lives through restoring their smiles.
Dr. Hecht has worked in numerous jobs prior to Dentistry ranging from busboy, caterer, florist, to watchmaker. Through those various vocations he has learned one common truth; Customer Service, in the end is the most important thing. Dr. Hecht knows how to listen to what patients needs are, inform them of their possibilities, and deliver what he promises.
Dr. Hecht has been in private practice since 1978. His practice focuses on General, Cosmetic, Sedation, and Implant dentistry. He is a life time learner. Dr. Hecht is the sole owner of a medium sized dental practice, managing a team of 11 team members including associate doctors. Dr. Hecht is an expert in treating the dentally disastrous and the fearful patients with his charisma and with the latest and the greatest techniques involving advanced sedation.
