Dr. Alex Hu

Dr Hu is knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. He’s also prompt and proactive in responding to questions and concerns submitted through the Mychart portal. In addition, he’s very good at requesting timely referrals, which has helped me get the care I’ve needed without unnecessary delays.

Dr Hu has amazing ratings at UCLA Health and there is a reason why. He is very compassionate and you can tell he cares about his patients. I've been at Cedars and wanted to switch my GP. My last GP asked me questions and I was in and out of there maybe 20 min. When I got COVID a year ago, my last GP told me to wait it out (even though I was having problems breathing and went to urgent care) and had zero compassion. Dr Hu listened to all my concerns and spent maybe 45 min to 1 hr with me which is unheard of for a doctor these days. He is very thorough making sure to check all your concerns. I would highly recommend him as a GP.

I visited Dr. Hu for a quick checkup. He was extremely professional: on time, thorough, and informative. I’ll be looking to see if he can be my primary in the future.
