Dr. Alex Lancaster, MD

Dr. Lancaster specializes in hip and knee replacements, including complex and revision procedures. She utilizes both anterior and posterior approaches to hip replacement, tailored to each individual patient’s needs, as well as image guidance and robotics to enhance surgical precision for both knee and hip procedures. Her goal is to treat every patient like a family member and provide the highest quality medical and surgical care possible.
Inspired by her mother, who is a nurse, Dr. Lancaster pursued a career in medicine to help people in a tangible way. During medical school, she was drawn to orthopedic surgery due to her love for problem solving and the opportunity to restore patients’ mobility and function. She finds it very rewarding to see the positive impact it can have on people’s lives.
